Open Training Courses 2007 - TCO

Total Cost of Ownership - Sydney

17 April 2007 9.00am (1 day course)

This one-day practical programme demonstrates how lower ‘cost’ can be achieved through employing the principle of ‘total cost ownership’/whole life costing. Whilst price may be a key driver in selecting the goods and services to be purchased, if considered on its own it can often mislead organisations into thinking that they have the best deal when in fact they have entered into a deal that will cost much more than it needed to. At the conclusion of the course, participants will have developed a relatively complex TCO model for a common spend category. This course goes beyond most introductory courses, because we focus on the links between TCO and the other dimensions of strategic procurement.
