Assess against selection criteria and consider whole life costs and risk
Your procurement team must evaluate the offers submitted, electronically or through traditional means, by the suppliers interested in and capable of meeting your organisation’s requirement.
The team should employ the criteria for selection they identified at the outset, using weightings and ranking the offers as they deem appropriate. Whole-life costing should be undertaken. Cost analysis and modelling is also useful at this stage. Risk analysis should also be undertaken as appropriate.
Best and final offers should be obtained by means of bid clarification and post-tender negotiation or eAuctions.
