Lessons Management

Post contract review to identify key learnings

At the end of the contract, life exit strategies should be implemented or the contract extended as appropriate. Whatever decision you make, the changes should be communicated to your internal end users and buyers.

You should also review the contract against the original objectives (the business case) and the knowledge or experience gained should be harnessed and used for future reference. You may also find it valuable to benchmark the experience with other contracts of a similar nature or with other customers of the supplier in question.
