This is a new position based at the Group’s Head Office located in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. Reporting to the Group CEO the key function will be to analyse the Groups current procurement practices throughout Asia Pacific, develop and then implement long term coordinated processes and procedures.

Job Description
Reporting directly to the COO, this role engages at the highest level and is key to the delivery of the Executive’s strategic objectives. You will lead a first-class team of strategic sourcing experts to ensure the delivery of best practice procurement solutions and ongoing process transformation.

This position is responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of procurement services. This involves proactively providing advice to internal customers, assisting in establishing supply arrangements and maintaining corporate procurement policies.
Responsibilities will include managing the development of negotiation plans, and conducting these plans in driving value for money outcomes. This will include managing supply arrangements, preparing tender documentation, calling tenders, evaluating tenders and negotiating contracts.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation skills and be a strong communicator. This will be coupled with an action oriented and results focused approach.
Essential criteria include Tertiary Qualifications in Economics, Contract Law, Commerce, or equivalent qualifications as well as a working knowledge of Contract Management/Procurement Principles and Practices.
