  • Procurement and its value - how to educate and influence the organisation

    CIPS New Zealand and the Christchurch committee warmly invites you to our first event for the year to hear Bruce Gordon of PGG Wrightson Ltd, talk about the value of procurement.

    The Christchurch committee will provide an overview of the 2010 events programme. Also up for discussion is the Government Procurement Development Programme (GPDP). The programme aims to  build the capabilities and capacity of State sector procurers and provide  education and training opportunities within both the public and private sectors.

    The CIPS New Zealand committee and the CFO Special Interest Group of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants are delighted to invite their members and other professionals to a joint event being held in Wellington. 

     

    Following a year of global financial meltdown, we will be taking a look at how the New Zealand economy has fared and what lies ahead for those working in procurement and finance as we move towards economic recovery. The theme of the evening will be ‘The Changing Economic Landscape’.
